Help! I’m trapped!

03/25/24

What if I make a mistake?

What if I fail?

What if they laugh at me?

What if I’m wrong?

What if this change makes things worse?

What if…

Hey!

Stop overthinking!

It’s preventing you from making important decisions…

Keeping you from enjoying the present moment…

And it’s draining your energy.

Do you want to be indecisive, distracted, and drained???

Interesting facts I learned from a mentor years ago…

33% of people will like you…

33% of people won’t like you…

And 33% of people will be neutral about you…

No matter what you do!

So…

You don’t need to prove yourself to others just to be liked.

Just be you!

And the right people will like you.

Sure, change can make things worse…

OR…

Change can make things much better in certain circumstances.

You’ll never know…

Until you make the change.

So don’t be afraid of the things that haven’t come…

Be afraid of what it would be like if you don’t change and get stuck.

Stop beating yourself up for past mistakes you’ve made…

The past is over.

And stop worrying about the things that haven’t happened yet.

As Mark Twain once said…

“I have known a great many troubles, but most of them never happened.”

There’s no value in worrying about future scenarios that may never happen.

So, stop overthinking…

Don’t get trapped in your own thoughts…

Or you will pay for the consequences.

Instead…

Be present…

Be fully present so that you enjoy and cherish the moment you have right now…

Be in the present moment…

Be in the NOW.

Rooting for you,
Jay (inviting you to break the pattern of overthinking)
