Remember When The World Shut Down?

09/15/25

Remember a few years ago when the world shut down?

Feels like a lifetime ago, right?

I remember hearing how we’d never go back to in-person events or conferences after COVID.

But you know what happened?

We MISSED human interaction.

While Zoom and Teams are incredible platforms that offer us a way to stay connected and exchange information effectively across the world…

It is NOT a replacement for in-person, human-to-human connection.

During COVID, I made a shift in my business to focus on one-on-one coaching, and in most cases, it was virtual.

I loved it and found it to be incredibly rewarding.

But as soon as COVID was behind us…

I felt the itch to be around people again.

Being on Zoom all day wasn’t cutting it for me anymore lol.

I made the shift to speaking, and I’ve been fortunate to speak on stages around the world, offering tools and strategies to be resilient even during the most difficult of times.

What I’ve noticed in my conversations with Meeting Planners is that so often, they hire someone who they thought would be a great speaker, but unfortunately, didn’t deliver.

Maybe they had a great story…

A huge following…

Celebrity status…

But the audience listening would think, “What does this have to do with me? How does this help me with what I’m going through?”

After hearing this over and over again, I decided to offer a simple framework to help Meeting Planners select the right speaker who actually delivers.

Since I’ve been on the other side of this (I ran L&D programs for Tesla years ago), I know what it’s like to put together an event that you want to be incredibly impactful.

I’m excited to announce this free 3-day guide for Meeting Planners, L&D Leaders, HR Leaders, or Event Organizers titled “Don’t Get Burned: How to Hire a Speaker Who Actually Delivers”.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working on this for months with the goal of helping our partners avoid the mistake of selecting a speaker that looks great on paper, but isn’t relatable to their audience.

I’ll be launching this on social media tomorrow, but everyone on my newsletter will get early access by going HERE.

If you’re someone who selects speakers and cares deeply about providing an impactful event for your audience, sign up now for this free program.

And if you’re not in that role, please feel free to share it with someone who is!

Many of us have been in the audience and felt what it’s like to connect to an impactful speaker.

We’ve also had the experience where it felt like the speaker was wasting our time.

Please share this with someone who wants to get it right!

Rooting for you,
