Do you find yourself asking…
Is this what I really want?
Am I growing?
Am I being stagnant?
Am I TOO comfortable?
The fuel behind these questions is your hunger.
A hunger for…
Change…
Growth…
Self-realization.
You have ambition…
But…
Something gets in the way of feeding this hunger, doesn’t it?
Typically, it’s one (or both) of these things…
Fear of failure…
Or…
Fear of the unknown.
So rather than rely on your willpower to push your way through the fear…
Took a closer look at what you’re afraid of.
What is this “failure” that you’re afraid of?
Failure is a stepping stone…
Not an endpoint…
Whereby you can extract invaluable lessons that will help you grow…
And achieve that change you desire.
So rather than seeing failure as something to avoid…
See it as something to embrace!
What is this “unknown” that you’re afraid of?
Let me ask you this way…
What is truly “known”?
Do you KNOW what’s going to happen today?
Do you KNOW that you’ll have a job tomorrow?
Do you KNOW what challenges life is going to throw your way in the coming days, weeks, months, and years?
Do you KNOW what words you’re about to read in this email???
EVERYTHING is unknown.
So your real fear is losing the known.
But even that which is known…
That which makes you feel secure and comfortable…
Is subject to change.
So rather than seeing the unknown as something to avoid…
See it as something to embrace!
======
So…
Embrace “failure”…
Embrace “the unknown”…
Feed your hunger…
For it holds the secret to self-discovery…
And a life enriched with new adventures.
Remember…
Change is not to be feared but rather celebrated…
For it is through change that we uncover our full potential…
And create a life that is both fulfilling and meaningful.
Rooting for you,
Jay (encouraging you to feed your hunger)
