Have you ever felt stuck…
Asking the question…
“Should I stay?…
Or should I go?”
Maybe you’ve only asked this while singing along to the 80’s hit by The Clash…
Or maybe it’s a genuine question you’ve pondered.
Before you even get to the answer…
Be sure you’re in the right state of mind.
Are you only focusing on what’s missing?
If that’s the case…
You’re going to make a choice out of a sense of lack.
And that does NOT serve you.
So my encouragement is for you to first shift your attention to what you’re grateful for.
By taking inventory of the abundance in your life…
You can look at this situation objectively.
Should you stay?
If staying offers you an opportunity to align your values with your work…
Challenges you…
And allows for you to serve others in a meaningful way that is unique to your talents…
Then stay!
And be happy with this decision.
If not…
Then go to the next line of questioning…
Should you go?
What opportunities are out there that would align your values to your work…
Will challenge you…
And allow for you to serve others in a meaningful way that is unique to your talent?
What steps do you need to take to bring this opportunity to life?
Who do you need to talk to?
You are the CEO of your life.
And as the CEO…
You have choices to make.
Make them objectively.
Choose the path that feels right…
Intuitively…
After you’ve taken inventory of all the data points.
So should you stay or should you go?
You DON’T gotta let me know ?
You’re the only one who needs to know…
So take full ownership…
And make your decision.
Trust in your ability to navigate change…
Or to find fulfillment in staying…
And embrace the journey that unfolds.
Your choice…
Your journey.
Rooting for you,
Jay (choose wisely, my friend!)
